Shape: Slight suriage but the signature is still identifiable.
Jigane: Small itame hada, well-forged, producing clear utsuri.
Hamon: Konie deki mixed with nioi deki, choji midare from near the hamachi with active koashi. Haba with soft working at the tip of the feet. Boshi, double-edged, nioiguchi softly sweeping.

Features: Known as Ishido Morihisa and Bushu Hachizaemon no Jo. Also called Ishido Hata Toren. The style is Mitsuhira ancient style, reminiscent of Yoshioka Ichimonji at a glance. The shinogiji mixes itame hada and masame hada.
This is a masterpiece that remains captivating.

Observe what differentiates it from kotō, especially the boshi, curvature, jigane of the shinogiji, and the state of the utsuri. This sword is highly recommended for study.

Historical Background: During the Edo period, the demand for swords decreased, leading many swordsmiths to leave their craft. In this environment, smiths like Kohei and Ishido Hattorou aimed to replicate ancient Ichimonji styles, gaining popularity for their faithful reproductions. This sword is an excellent study piece, with clear utsuri.
