Shape: the thick and wide tanto with Bo-hi carved on both sides.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada with a splendid jigane.
Hamon: Nideki gunome midare with a lot of Ashi with sunagashi and fine kinsuji.

Features: Yamaue Norhihisa was born in 1940 and learned sword forging from Kurihara Akihide. He won many awards afther the war.
There are many changes in the hamon and it is attractive.
The inscription says that this sword was made in January of the first year of Heisei, which seemes to convey his enthusiasm.
