Shape: The sword has a standard width, a slightly thicker kasane, and a well-proportioned shape.
Jigane: The steel has a fine ko-itame hada, which is well-forged and of excellent quality.
Hamon: The hamon has a soft appearance with a nie-laden gunome midare pattern, with a sharp nioiguchi and a turn back at the boshi.

Features: Yoshihiro is a swordsmith from Aomori and is known as Niko Ho. He has won 4 awards for effort and has been selected 9 times. He was a student of his father, Niko Yoshiaki, and later became a student of Kurihara Akihide from Showa 16 (1941). He further learned from Hori Toshihide and then from Miyaire Seihei. Originally commissioned by the army. Born in Taisho 5 (1916).
