Special feature:Tsushima Kami Tsunemitsi was born in Gamo-gun, Omi, and
moved to many sword makers Edo with his wife, Heki Mitsihira.
Heki Ichinojyo was later called saburo zaemon, the legal name
Kazunori, whose Hamon was called Oumi isido, which reminds me of
Ichimonji.
From Aoi Bijyutsu:n the Edo period and transition to a peaceful era, the
demand for Japanese swords dropped sharply, and many sword makers
tried to move to Edo because the shogunate changed to Edo in order
to seek a new life. It is believed that many of the Isidou schools moved
to Edo. At that time, Mitsuhira, Musashi Daijyo Korekazu, etc. must
have been highly evaluated for producing works with Utsauri in Edo. In
particular, Tsunemits and Mitsuhira produced works reminiscent of
Ichimonji, and some works with Utsuri are thought to have produced
works that are highly evaluated using that technique as a weapon
because there were not many swordsmiths to produce in Edo.
This work is a masterpiece of Tsunemitsu’s Ichimonji utsushi, and we
are producing the gorgeous Cyoji midare, fukuro cyoji, and Jyuka Cyoji
midare of Kocyoji midare. In Hamon has sunagashi and kinsuji
It works well and the Saidan mei (cutting test) is written in Kinpun mei.
