Habaki: Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length: 80.6 cm (31.73 in).
Curvature: 2.6 cm (1.02 in).
Mekugi holes: 1.
Width at base: 3.04 cm (1.20 in).
Width at the tip: 1.65 cm (0.65 in).
Thickness of rim: 0.86 cm (0.34 in).
Era: Edo perido around Bunka era(1816)
Shape: The sword has a normal width, thick Kasane, and a large curvature, making it a long blade.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada well worked with a clear jigane and visible steel.
Hamon: The hamon is a lively mix of nie with irregular patterns, deep nioiguchi, with activities such as ashi and yō, including sunagashi and kinsuji.

Special feature : Naotane, was born in Uzen province in Ansei 7(1778 ). His real name was Syoji Minobei. He went to Edo and became a pupil of Suishinshi Masahide and he also served Akimoto family. Naotane got the title Chikuzen-Daijo in Ansei 4(1821) and stepped up to the Mino Kami in Kaei 1(2848).
As building up a solid reputation, he got many invitations to forge sword in various places. He added the name of place to inscribe the signature. Naotane passed away in Ansei 4 (1857), aged 79. Naotane could make a variety of styles: Bizen-den, Soshu-den, Yamashiro-den and Yamato-den. He was especially good at Bizen-den and the Soshu-den. His swords are ranked
at the highest rank called Saijo-saku in the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate. Especially his swords forged in the Tempo era (1830 to 1844) called Tempo-uchi are highly appreciated as his best examples attained maturity.

Tsuba: Shakudo Nanako Tsuba with a design of grass and flowers in gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo with a design of autumn grass and insects in gold color, Signature: Mino ju Mitsunaka.
Saya (Scabbard): Black and vermillion lacquered saya.
Menuki: Carved with a design of dragons in gold color.
Kogai Shakudo Nanako with a design of Shishi dog and bamboo in gold color.
