Takahashi Motonoshin Yukishige was active in Kyoto in the end of Edo period.
This sword is reminiscent of an ancient sword, especially Norishige due to its shape, jigane and hamon.
In the late Edo period, when the spirit of restoration was in full swing, the old sword style became popular.
The jigane and hamon that show intricate patterns is really fascinating.
