Era : Edo period around Kanbun Era
Shape : It is thick Sankaku yari with hi engraved at the back.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie-deki Suguha with double Ha mixed.
Boshi is round Hakikake style.

Special feature : Shimosaka school has forged blades mainly at Echizen province.
Later on, the school spread out to other provinces.
This blade seems to be forged around early Edo period at Echizen.
Jigane is good and Hamon is clear as well.
Flawless healthy piece which is unlikely on most Yari having many Kizu.
