Koto: JyoJyo saku: Bizen.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki :gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 63.0 cm or 24.80 inches.
Sori :1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.01cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.175 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.65cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : middle Kamakura period Koan era: 1278.
Shape : Yha blade is oosuriage(cut shortened) rather wide
and thick with deep sori and middle Kissaki.
On both sidees of the blade engrave Bo-Hi and soehi.
Jigane :Komokume hada quite well grained with jinie attach
thickly and Utsuri appear on the Ji.
Hamon :Nioi deki Cyoji midare up and down.
In Hamon, there are many sunagashi Kinsuji, ashi, and Yo work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature: Hatakeda Mitsumori is a sword smith of Hatakeda school.
The founder of the school is Hatakeda Moriie.
Mitsumori was active in middle Kamakura period around Koan era.
There are very few of Mitsumori’s Zaimei(with signature) blade.
There are two blades in the important arts.
Moriie and Mitsumori, they made Choji Midare Hamon.
That resembling a Ichimonji Hamon.
This blade has healthy Jigane and Hamon.
At a glance, that looks like Shinshinto, the blade is so healthy.

From Aoi Art: Osuriage Mumei blade, NBTHK Judged as Mumei Hatakeda Mitsumori. The blade has large Sori. There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi on the both side of the blade. The Jigane is excellent with Utsuri.
The Hamon is bright Choji Midare. In Ha, there are many Ko-Ashi and Yo.
This is masterpiece sword. The Hamon of Hatakeda school is similar to Ichimonji.
The polishing is Sashikomi style. We can see the works(Yo, Sunagashi and Kinsuji) in the Ha easily. Boshi is also healthy.
