This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper single habaki.
Blade length: 32.9cm or 12.95inches.
Sori: 0.5cm or 0.19inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 2.98cm or 1.17inches.
Kasane:0.62 cm or 0.24inches.
The weight of the sword: 320grams.
Era: The Meio era, the Muromachi period. 1492
Shape: The blade is Shobuzukuri. It used to have longer Nakago.
Jigane: Jigane itself is good, but Masame in the part of pure iron is too visible.
Shinogiji: Masamehada is strong.
Hamon: Ko-Gunomemidare, the bright Hamon.

Special Feature: Shigaseki is a sword smiths group in Noshu who moved to near present Shiga Machi in Kitaku, Nagoyashi, such as Kanenobu and Nobutsugu. In west-Shiga village had ruins of castle, so they moved there from Seki, seeking for that demands. Today, we call the present “Kinjo Machi 2 Chome 20 Banchi” as “Kajiya Machi”(Sword smiths town). This wakizashi is supposed to be made in around 1492, by Sanenobu.

Tsuba: Square and round shaped Tsuba like Akasaka Tsuba.
Fuchikashira: On iron plate, flowers are engraved with gold color. Higo Fuchikashira.
