The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold color double habaki.
Blade length : 35.4 cm or 13.93 inches.
Sori :0.4 cm or 0.15 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.38 cm or 1.33 inches.
Kasane :0.46 cm or 0.18 inches.
The weight of the sword: 290 grams.
Era : Muromachi period, around Tensho era.
Shape : Wide and thick, Mitsumime style Tanto with small Sori.
Jigane : The mixture of Itame Hada and Mokume Hada.

Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon base with Ashi and Gunome Midare. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature: The founder of Bishu Osafune Yukikane school started from the Muromachi period around the Bunmei era.
They continued to the end of the Muromachi period.
At a glance, the blade looks like the Nanbokucho period’s one.
This blade is wide and nice Mitsumune style Wakizashi.

Fuchikashira: Black horn.
Menuki : Kiri Mon and Kuyo Mon, Family crest is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Copper plate, flower is engraved with silver color.

From Aoi Art: This is wide and magnificent Bishu Osafune Yukikane Wakizashi.
There is a Ware(clack) near the Hamachi on the Sashiura side. But it is hidden by the Habaki. It is not so serious.
