This blade belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 54.1 cm or 21.29 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.20 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.28 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Enpo era.
Shape : Thick and wide Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, Suguha. There are double Ha.Boshi is round shape.

Special Feature : Kanewaka was a swodsmith in Kaga province, and they continued 5 generations from Genna era(about 1615) to Genbun era(about 1736).
This blade was made by 3rd generation of Kanewaka. He was called Shirouemon.
He helped his father with making sword. He succeeded to name after the death of his father in 1677.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :Round shape, Shakudo Tusba. The rim is covered with silver.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo, Ume tree and bird are engraved with gold and copper color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, plants are engraved.
Kozuka : Shakudo Nanako, deer and flower are engraved with gold and copper color.
Kogatana : bamboo.
