(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 70.6 cm or 27.79 inches.
Sori :1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.20 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.10 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Weight of the blade: 785 grams
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with small Sori.
Jigane : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are Chikei. This is typical Hojoji’s Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha and Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
Boshi is Togari Gokoro and small rounded Hakikake style.

Special feature: Tajima no kami Hojoji Tachibana Sadakuni was a swordsmith of Edo Hojoji school and similar Hamon
and jigane.Masahiro, Masateru, Yoshitsugu,
and Kaneshige are well known sword makers in Edo Hojyoji school.
On the Ji, there are tiny kizu but not serious.
The sayagaki was done by Dr.Kanzan sensei.
The sword is written on the book Token to Rekishi published
by NTHK Hozon Kai M. Yoshikawa.
