Features:
The Shimada school was a group of swordsmiths who worked in Suruga Province from the mid-Muromachi period onward, with Yoshisuke regarded as its founder. This work has an impressive and powerful shape reminiscent of a naginata from the Nanbokucho period, featuring a wide body, deep curvature, and a prominently extended kissaki.
