This sword belongs to Jyo jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 74.8 cm or 29.44 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.15 cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.26 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era: Edo Kanbun era.
Shape: The blade is long, thick and wide with small Sori and longer Kissaki. The shape is Kanei style.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Notare with Ko Ashi. Boshi is a round in shape.

Special feature: Harima Daijo Fujiwara Shigetaka was a son of Shigetaka 1st generation. The work is similar to Echizen Yasutsugu.
He was from Shinshu Iida. He moved to Echizen province in the end of the Muromachi period. Especially, he made Tanto and Wakizashi. There is few Shigetaka the 1st’s Katana.
This blade was made by Yasutsugu the 2nd.
His blade is similar to Yasutsugu the 3rd. They continued to the end of Edo period(11th generation).

From Aoi Art: The 1st generation’s signature seems to have crushed and vertically long shape characters. After the 2nd generation, the inscription is vertically long.
This blade is wide and long, nice shape.
