Jigane: Itamehada mixed with Mokume and Utsuri.
Hamon: Niedeki mainly Notare, Gunomemidare. Nioikuchi and Gunomemidare work well in Ha. The tip is Yakizume.

Special feature: Shikkake school is one of Yamato Goha, we have Hosho, Tegai,
Taima and Senjuin addition to that. Each school has its own characteristics
and made many swords in those days. Shikkake was founded by Norinaga and there were generations.
It is said that the times of the early swordsmiths can be around the mid-Kamakura period,
so their swords have characteristics of Yamato Mono strongly. This sword is very old
because it is made from Nagamaki and the characteristics of Jigane and Hamon.

From Aoi Art: Brilliant functionings in Ha: smoky atmosphere with Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
The blade edge has enough thickness and it looks like clam shells: typical Koto Jigane.
The blade is broad enough and looks powerful. We truly recommend this to you.
