Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.02 cm (1.19 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 1.52cm.
Sword Weight: 885 g.
Era: Late Edo period.
Shape: Although a wakizashi, it has a wide mihaba and exceptionally thick kasane, resulting in the remarkable weight of 885 g.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada.
Hamon: Pointed gunome-midare extending continuously from the hamachi to the kissaki.
The overall shape is reminiscent of a naginata.

Features: It is exceedingly rare to encounter a wakizashi with such extraordinary thickness.
Its impressive mass and powerful construction make it a truly striking example.
