This blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Hida no Kami Fujiwara Ujifusa (signature cut off below).
Habaki: Copper habaki.
Blade Length: 68.0 cm (26.77 in).
Curvature: 1.2 cm (0.47 in).
Mekugi Hole: 2.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.16 cm (1.24 in).
Width at Yokote: 2.28 cm (0.90 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.64 cm (0.25 in).
Sword Weight: 700 g.
Era: Edo period, around the Keicho era (1596–1615).
Shape: A katana shortened by approximately 2 cm. It has a substantial mihaba and thick kasane, giving it a robust appearance, with a broad kissaki.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with a beautiful and refined steel surface.
Hamon: A bold and vigorous hamon with angular elements. The boshi undulates before returning in a rounded form. It displays a distinctive tempering style.

Features: The hamon on both sides of the blade correspond to one another, producing a style reminiscent of Muramasa. The blade clearly exhibits the characteristic shape of Keicho Shinto swords while also showing the distinctive workmanship of the Mino tradition.

The Keicho era (1596–1615), following the Muromachi period, was an exceptionally turbulent time spanning the end of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and the beginning of the Edo period. During the transition of power from the Toyotomi clan to the Tokugawa clan, numerous large-scale battles and major political events took place.
