Era: late Edo period, 1815
Shape: A robust blade with wide mihaba, substantial kasane, and an elongated kissaki.
Jigane: Tightly forged ko-itame hada with ji-nie, producing a dark-toned steel surface.
Hamon: Gunome-midare with a deep nioiguchi. The boshi becomes softly irregular and returns in a rounded tip.

Features: Although little is known about this swordsmith, the signature and date suggest that he was closely associated with Sasshu ju Masayoshi (later Hoki no Kami Masayuki). The blade displays a distinctly Satsuma style, featuring abundant ara-nie, a deep nioiguchi, and active kinsuji and sunagashi.
