This blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Uda Kunimune.

Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.70 cm (0.28 in).
Sword Weight: 195 g.
Era: Muromachi period, around the Bunmei era (1469–1487).
Shape: A stout tanto with a substantial mihaba and thick kasane, displaying excellent proportions.
Jigane: Steel with a clearly visible grain pattern.
Hamon: Nie-deki with rounded gunome intermixed. The boshi is slightly pointed and returns in a long ko-maru form.

Features: Uda Kunimune belonged to the Uda school, a distinguished group of swordsmiths that flourished in Etchu Province (present-day Toyama Prefecture) from the Nanbokucho period through the Shinto period.

Koshirae: Aikuchi koshirae.

Fuchikashira: Shakudo ground carved with a karakusa (arabesque) pattern.
Saya (Scabbard): Decorative lacquered saya with a unique finish.
