Curvature: 0.5 cm (0.20 in).
Mekugi Hole: 2.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.81 cm (1.11 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.55 cm (0.22 in).
Sword Weight: 230 g.
Era: Around the early to middle Muromachi period.
Shape: A wakizashi with standard width and thickness and a well-balanced shape.
Bo-hi grooves are carved on both sides of the blade.
Jigane: Itame hada mixed with mokume hada.
Hamon: Nie-deki gunome midare with double and triple temper lines appearing within the pattern.
Features: Kaneyoshi was a Mino smith, part of a group of swordsmiths active from the Nanbokucho period through around the Eisho era of the Muromachi period (1504–1521).
Although this blade has some small flaws, it is an excellent wakizashi with a powerful and impressive hamon.
