Features: This sword was previously judged to be the work of Kotetsu but was later appraised as Bushu Yasuie in the NBTHK Hozon Token certification. This sword bears the cutting test inscription of Yamano Kaemon Nagahisa.
It records a test of cutting through two bodies, dated August 8th, Kanbun 3 (1663).
The hamon is bright and suggests excellent cutting ability.

Shape: A standard width and thickness with a slight forward curve at the tip.
Jigane: Itame hada with visible grain and well-applied ji-nie.
Hamon: Gently undulating midareba, with matching patterns on both sides.
