Shape: A tanto with substantial mihaba and thick kasane.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with prominent utsuri.

Features: Bizen Osafune Sukesada school was a group of swordsmiths active during the late Muromachi period. As Japan was in the midst of the Sengoku (Warring States) period, demand for swords was exceptionally high, and large numbers of blades were produced in both Bizen and Mino provinces. The Sukesada workshop employed many craftsmen and produced swords in great quantity, all signed with the same "Sukesada" name.

This blade is a sincere, solid example of Sukesada's work and may be regarded as being of average quality among the Sukesada swords.
