This blade is ranked as Jyo Saku among the works of Kanekage.
Habaki: Double Habaki of silver and shakudo.
Blade Length: 34.2 cm (13.46 in).
Curvature: 0.7 cm (0.28 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.58 cm (1.41 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.57 cm (0.22 in).
Sword Weight: 320 grams.
Era: Muromachi Period, around the Tensho era (1573-1592).
Shape: Wide blade, slightly thin kasane, a sun-nobi tanto style with sakizori curvature.
Nakago finished with higaki yasuri file marks.
Jigane: Itame hada with visible standing grain and clearly discernible texture.
Hamon: Gunome-midare.
The boshi turns back deeply and extends from around the monouchi area.

Features: Kanekage was a Mino swordsmith active around the Tenmon era (1532-1555) of the Muromachi Period.
He continued to be active through the late Muromachi Period.
