Features: A rounded square iron tsuba with shigure-yasuri, diagonal file marks representing falling rain, carved with a design of reed grass and a waterfowl holding a small fish in its beak, decorated with iroe inlay.
Dew on the leaves is expressed with dot inlay, and the rim is fitted with a silver fukurin (rim cover).
