Hamon: The Masame-hada is well forged, with Nijuba and active Chikei. The blade has an excellent overall shape.

Aoi Art's Comment: There were several generations of Kunikane, and this work dates from the late Edo period (Shinshinto). The Masame-hada on one side is rather faint, which is probably why it was attributed in this manner.
