Shape:Thick kasane with carvings on the blade.
This piece is believed to date from the late Edo period.
Jigane:Well-forged ko-itame-hada with a refined texture, clearly showing the grain.
Hamon:Nie-based straight hamon with notare, featuring ko-ashi and a sweeping hakikake boshi with a long return.
The omote side has two grooves, while the ura side is carved with a plant motif.

Features: This is a tanto bearing the signature "Umetada Yoshinobu".
Although the signature is not guaranteed, the workmanship is excellent and highly recommended.
