Hammered copper ground with a high-relief carving of a boar, decorated with inlaid polychrome details.
Hammered shakudō ground with a high-relief carving of a deer, decorated with inlaid polychrome details.
Hayata Hidefusa, a metalworker from Hirado, was born in 1785. He studied under Ōmori Hidemasa and learned casting techniques in Nagasaki. He retired in 1844 and adopted the art name Chūsei.
