Special feature:
This is a long-sized Kogatana featuring a tightly forged ko-itame grain, with a bright and clear finish, and a shallow gunome-midare temper line in nie-deki.
Hirokuni Hiroki, born in 1948, is a swordsmith from Fukuoka who studied sword-forging techniques under Sumitani Masamine and was certified as Mukansa in 1996.
This piece does not have a registration certificate; instead, it comes with a document stating that it is not subject to registration. It is relatively long for a Kogatana, giving it a strong visual presence.
