This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Kanehiro residing in Higo Province.
Habaki: Double-layered silver habaki.
Blade Length: 72.3 cm (28.46 in).
Curvature: 2.0 cm (0.79 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.54 cm (1.39 in).
Width at Yokote: 3.14 cm (1.24 in).
Thickness (Kasane): 0.80 cm (0.31 in).
Sword Weight: 890 g.
Era: Modern.(1988)
Shape: Wide blade with thick kasane and deep curvature, with bohi grooves on both sides. The Kissaki is large.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada.
Hamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare, the kissaki is pointed and turns back sharply.

Features: Kanehiro of Higo Province is famous as a swordsmith who made utsushi of Kiyomaro.
Among his works, this is the first time we have seen a piece inscribed “Utsushi Taikei Naotane.”
This is a highly recommended work.
