Shape: slightly thin blade with slight big carveture.
Jigane: Koitame and Komokume with visible grain patterns with Chikei.
Hamon: NIe-based suguha with thick nioikuchi, mixed with Hotsure, Sunagashi and Kinsuji.

Features: Hōjōji is a school of swordsmiths active in the early Edo period, with smiths such as Masahiro being particularly well known. This blade shows a bright appearance overall with abundant nie, and the jigane is especially well forged with chikei appearing, presenting an excellent Jigane patterns.
