We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This sword is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for the smith Tairyusai Sokan.

Sword Weight: 900 g
Shape: The blade has a wide body with a thick kasane, mitsu-mune, and relatively deep curvature. The kissaki is slightly extended. Some areas of the original ha (unsharpened section) remain, indicating that the blade is well-preserved.
Jigane: Ko-nie deki with well-forged steel.
Hamon: Nie deki with a well-formed gunome-midare pattern. This is a characteristic hamon style of Tairyusai Sokan.

Features: Tairyusai Sokan's works are known for having slightly compressed hamon with consistent heads, and additional utsuri appearing in the upper areas of the blade.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron tsuba in octagonal shape, decorated with a dragon motif in silver.
Fuchi: Iron base with floral designs.
Kashira: Iron base with engraved pattern.
Saya (Scabbard): Bluish lacquered saya with spiral design. Inro-style carved saya.
Menuki: Horse motif.
