This blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Kashu ju Fujiwara Kanesada.

Shape: A sturdy katana with slightly wide mihaba and substantial kasane.
The original cutting edge remains intact.
The blade has deep curvature and an elongated kissaki.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with visible masame grain.
Hamon: Nie-deki mixed with gunome-midare.
The boshi features a double temper line and returns in a rounded form.

Features: Kashu ju Fujiwara Kanesada was a swordsmith of Kaga Province and a disciple of Kinoshita Kaneshige.
This is a solidly made and substantial blade.
