Koshirae:
This is a type of "Keitō-tachi" (chicken-head tachi), and was made after the end of World War II.
Aoi Art’s Comment:This type of Keitō-tachi likely began production around the Meiji period.
However, this particular piece was made after the war.
Currently, such pieces are no longer produced.
We believe the reason is due to cost issues.
