This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Bishu Osafune Norimitsu.
Habaki: Single-layer gold-plated.
Blade Length: 67.0 cm (26.38 in).
Curvature: 1.6 cm (0.63 in).
Mekugi Hole: 2.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.86 cm (1.13 in).
Width at Tip (Sakihaba): 1.77 cm (0.70 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.63 cm (0.25 in).
Sword Weight: 635 g.
Era: Mid Muromachi period, Bun’an era (1445).
Shape: Wide and հաստ blade with deep curvature and a slightly extended kissaki.
Jigane: The hamon shows a clear gunome-midare, with utsuri appearing.
Hamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare, with a midare-komi boshi.

Features: The Norimitsu lineage continued from the Nanbokucho period through the late Muromachi period.
The first generation of Norimitsu is said to date back to the Kagen era and is believed to have been a student of Nagamitsu.
This work, from the Bun’an era, is characterized by its bright and beautiful gunome-midare hamon.

The polishing is carried out very close to the hamon.
As a result, the hamon appears very clearly.
In recent years, this type of polishing has become more common.
