Special Feature: Goto Ichijyo was one of the leading meralsmith of the end of the Edo period. He received the title of Hokyo (法橋)
when he made sword fittings for Emperor Kogaku in 1824, at the age of 34. Both the inlaying of the autumn grasses and Shakudo nanako base are extremely detailed and delicate.
