Special Features: This Wakizashi was made by Gassan Sadakazu.
After receiving permission to create swords, Gen Teishutsu Gigein succeeded the nameGassan Sadakazu in 1966, and later, in 1971 (Showa 46), he was designated as a Living National Treasure (Important Intangible Cultural Property). Therefore, this work predates the designation as a Living National Treasure, but generally,the works from that era are known for their exceptional quality.
