Special Feature: Rai Kuniyasu is a pupil of Rai Kunimitsu, made many
swords in the Nambokucho period, his style was quite similar to the
style of Rai school. The strongest characteristic of Rai school which
we can see in his work is in Jihada: Suguha, Notare, Niju-ba, and
Sanju-ba. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work well in Hachu. Shinogiji has
Itamehada mixed with Mokumehada.

Width at the Kissaki : 2.29cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane :0.94 cm or 0.37 inches.
The weight of the sword 940 grams
Shape : Wide and thick blade with deep Sori, longer Kissaki.
The Ubu-Ba is left. This is nice shape Katana.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained. The Jigane is blackish.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. There are double Ha, Ashi, and Yo.
