located himself mainly in Yamashiro, and we can see the
characteristics of Rai school. Rai Kuniyasu moved to Echizen and
founded Chiyozuru school.

Sori : 1.0cm or 0.39inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.76 cm or 1.48inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 3.5 cm or 1.37inches.
Kasane : 0.5 cm or 0.19inches.
The weight of the sword:595grams.
Shape : The body has deep Sori of 3.75cm, to be O-Kissaki,
the shape is dynamic. The front side has an engraving of “Hachiman Dai Bosatsu”.
The back side has elaborate Kenmaki-Ryu and Dokko. Engraved by Yoshitane.
Jigane :Koitame-hada well grained, Jinie attached to be a beautiful Jigane. Swirling Chikei comes in.
Hamon :Niedeki Gunome-Midare, Ashi comes in, Sunagashi and Kimsuji work in Hachu.
