Special feature: Awataguchi Ikkanshi Tadatsuna was a swordsmith from Osaka,
succeeded to his house in Enpo 4(1677), when his father passed away. He called
himself as Asai Mandayu, and his first sword smith name was Tanakuni. Go(trade name)
was Ikkanshi or Goshoken, he was an export of Tokenbori(sword engraving). He moved
to Tokiwacho in Osaka, made great swords until middle of the Kyoho era(1716-1735), at the age of 80.

Width at the hamachi :2.71 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.51 cm or 0.20 inches.
Shape : The blade is O-suriage
nice shape Wakizashi.
Jigane :Itame hada and mokume hada
and also masame hada mixed
with jinie attach with Utsuri appear on the Ji.
Hamon :Konie deki Suguha with small gunome midare,
In hamon, many sunagashi and long Kinsuji whorl and also Yo
and small Ashi and Sunagashi.
Bo-shi is round Yakizume style.
