Special feature: Ohno Yoshimitsu was born at Showa 23rd October 16th Niigata prefecture.
At Showa 44, he studied under the Yoshihara Yoshindo, Yoshihara Shouji.
He studied very hard and got the permission for making Japanese swords from
Japanese government at Syowa 55.
After several years, He got a lot of prizes like the prize of The Agency for Cultural Affairs chief.
Takamatsu miya Imperial prince prize and became Mukansa sword maker.
He is well known Yamadorige utsusi which sword is marvelous one of the most famous
Gendai swords. We don’t come across a wonderful work bizen Cyoji midare sword.
The real Yamadorige sword belong to Uesugi family’s national treasure.
Oono Yoshimitsu succeeded to restore to original shape and Hamon.
He must be the most well known Bizen Choji midare sword maker and exceed Ningen Kokuho(human living national treasure).

Width at the hamachi : 3.33cm or 1.31 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
The weight of the sword 470 grams.
Shape : Wide and thick Shobu style sword. Shinogi-ji also wide and Sori is regular.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained and Jinie attached. Chikei is visible.
Hamon : Nie-deki deep Nioikuchi Suguha with soft Ashi. Boshi is round shape Yakisage style.
