Special feature : This sword is attributed to the Senjyuin school of Yamato province.
Senjyuin is the name of a subsuduary temple of the Todai-ji temple at Nara.
There were two schools: one had its origin in Yukinobu circa Ninhei (1151), consisted of Yukiyoshi, Yoshiyuki,
Ariyuki, Yukimasa, etc. The other had its origin in Shigehiro, circa Nin-an (1166),
consisted of Shigenaga, Shigemura, Yasumura, Shigehisa, etc.
The Senjyuin temple was destroyed in 1567 because of Hidehisa Matsunaga’s troop
set it on fire. As the result the school had disappeared.

Sori : 2.4cm or 0.945 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.0cm or1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.25 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.8cm or 0.31 inches.
Shape : The blade is regular widthm thickness
with deep sori and longer kissaki nice elegant shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful Nashiji jigane.
Hamon :Nioi deki suguha from the Hamachi
and then active choji midare
kikka chouji midare. Boshi is round shape.
