Special feature: Kunimasa is a student of Kunihiro. He helped Kunihiro to make swords, so his own works are few. His style is the same as Kunihiro. 
This sword also has typical jigane of the Kunihiro school, sometimes expressed as “ZANGURI”.which is typical Kunihiro school jigane.
The sayagaki was written by Dr.Kanzan and said that this sword was chosen as the best sword in the 8th NBTHK Juyo Token. The quality is the best of Kunihiro’s existing works.

Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.945 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi :2.8 cm or 1.1 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane :0,5 cm or 0.2 inches.
The weight of the sword 790 grams.
Shape : The blade is Ubu nakago with regular width
thickness and deep sori, longer kisski.
Jigane :Itame had well grained with jinie attch nice texture.
Hamon :Niedeki with rather thick nioikuchi suguha
from the Hamachi and then Gunome midare
and then notare suguha with thick nioikuch and ashi work.
Bo-shi is Ichimai round shape.
