at the NBTHK. Masaie was a founder of Mihara sword school
and called Uemon. His work is suguha hamon with sakasa Ashi.

The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : gold wrapped double habaki.
Blade length : 69.5 cm or 27.36 inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 2.88 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened).
Bo-hi is engraved on both sides of the blade.
on one sides of the Bo-hi is engraved Ken ukibori style.
Jigane :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach
and small chikei work and clear Utsuri appear.
Hamon :Nioi deck suguha with small ash scatter Hamon.
Boshi is noter and round shape which is called sansaku Boshi.
