Special feature : Echizen no kami Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi was a 3rd
son of first genertation Kyo Shinano kami Nobuyoshi.
And his real name was Takai Kinsaburou.
He entered the priesthood, and he was called Tomonobu.
He was strongly influenced by Sukehiro and Inoue Shinkai.
And his strong points are Touranba-Hamon and Suguha with deep Nioikuchi.
He has some signature “Echizen no kami Minamoto Nobuyoshi” ,
“Nyu-do Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi” ,
“Takai Echizen no kami Minamoto no Nobuyoshi”.
He migrated to Osaka pref in his late life and made Sword at there.
Some his blades in his late life has “Kikumon” and “Ichi” and “Minamoto” in signature.
There are “Kikumon” and “Ichi” and “Minamoto” in this blade’s signature.
And so, this blade was made in his late life.(Genroku era.(about 1688))

Sori :1.21 cm or 0.476 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 3.22cm or 1.27inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.8 cm or 1.1 inches.
Kasane : 0.835cm or 0.329 inches.
Shape : The blade is very wide and thick long sword with very long Kissaki.
Jigane :Itame hada and oomokume hada mixed with jiniw attach
and chikei work active Jigane and utsuri appear.
Hamon :Konie deki Cyoji midare and kogunome midare mixed
with sunagashi and kinsuji work.
