Special feature : The founder of the Ayakoji school was Sadatoshi and continued many generations.
Sueyuki was a student of the Sadatoshi Yamashiro school
who was working at Einin era.
The blade has some small lose had but not serious.
The sword has passed more than 720 years of ages which remind
us precious historical sword keeling by so many person for a long period.
The blade got NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper.
The precious point is that the blade was made at
Yamasiro province under the Yamassiro Sadatoshi.
Hamon, Jigane and the shape of the Kissaki feel degnified well worked
sword which was belonging to Daimyo
sword. We recommend this sword will be added as your sword treasure.

The blade is deep sori so the blade must be old Koto blade.
Boshi is elegant notare round shape with turns back sharply.
Jigane is quite well grained like mirror neans that the blade was made at Yamashiro.

Please watch the Kissaki hamon carefully in checking Kantei.
Boshi is appear special feature of the sword makers and schools.
Also understand the real original Hamon or made Hamon by artificcial way.

Sori : 1.5 or 0.6inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.26 inches.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with suitable curve and long Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful texture which is called Hizen Konuka-hada.
Shinogiji : Masame hada which is typical Shinto texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome Midare long Ashi with thick Nioikuchi and
Sunagashi, Kinsuji work active. Boshi turns round shape.
