Special feature:Osafune Yoshikage was a son of the great Kagemitsu.
He studied from Chikakage.
He made many Nagamaki style swords mainly but he also made regular style swords.
Yoshikage continued 3rd generations.
This blade is typical Yoshigage blade.

Blade length : 76.2 cm or 30 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.48 cm or 0.18 inches.
Shape : The blade is almost Ubu nakago original shape.
The blade is regular widthm thickness and deep sori and longer kissaki elegant nice shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
but some parts are rough jigane.
Hamon : Konie deki suguha, small gunome midare and tobiyaki
appear on the hamon. Boshi is notare and round shape
the top of the hamon is turns back.

1:Jigane is well grained like mirror.
2:Hamon is kogunome midare and find some tobiyaki over the Hamon.
3:Boshi’s hamon is elegant notare round shape with turns back sharply.
4:The shape is deep elegant shape almost Ubu nakag
