Special feature : Samoji (samonji) started from early Nanbokucyo period by Sa.
His subject is quite difference between Kyusyu school sword makers that the blackish ooitame hada and wild feeling swords.
The blade is bright and fantastic elegant fine Jigane like Awataguchi style.
His students Yasuyoshi, Yukihiro, Yoshisada, Kunihiro Hiroyuki
and Sadayoshi helped his master and studied.
Sa Hiroyuki is a son of the Yukihiro who was working at middle Nanbokucyo period.
This blade is Osuriage Mumei. But the wide and magnificent sword.
The Jigane is mixture of Itame and Mokume with Jinie and Chikei.
We can clearly see characteristics of Samonji school.

Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.82cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16 cm or 0.85 inches.
Shape : Regular width and thickness Katana with large Sori.
There are engraving of Ken with dragon, Ume flower and bamboo.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained. It is clear Jigane.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, From Hamachi is Suguha and then tight Choji Midare.
The Ha is bright. Boshi is Midarekomi Hakikake shape.
