Special feature:The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened)
and judged as Tegai Yamato school.
Yamato sword makers are well communicated with temple and shrine.
Tegai school was working at western part of Todaiji temple and made swords for temple’s priest soldiers. The founder of the Tegai school was Kanenaga Kamakura period Syohei era. This school was working from Kamakura period to Nanbokuchi and Muromachi period.
The blade is very healthy blade and high ranking sword:

Blade length : 70.6 cm or 27.8 inches.
Sori :1.82cm or 0.716 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.9cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.33 cm or0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.61cm or 0,243 inches.
Shape : The blade is rather wide
and thick with suitable sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Shinoggiji:koitame hada and masame hada mixed.
Hamon :Niedeki notare hamon with thicker nie
with ashi, sunagashi and small kinsuji.
Boshi is gunome midare sansaku style.
