Special feature: The first generation Yasutsugu is from Omi koku Sakata-Gun Shimosaka-Go. He is called “Shimosaka Shizaemon”.
Later on he moved to Edo.
The first generation Yasutugu was admitted as sword maker of
Tokugawa shogun and was permitted to engrave Tokugawa
family’s crest on the sword nakago.
This Shirasaya has Dr.Kanzan’s Sayagaki. The Jigane is nice Echizen Jigane.
The Hamon has thick Nioikuchi.

Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.19 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.29 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
Shape : Wide and thick Katana. The Kissaki is long.
Nice shape Katana.
Jigane : Masame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Chikei is along the Masame Hada.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha base, double-Ha and Uchinoke.
In Ha, there are Ashi. Boshi has sharp point.
