Appraisal Quiz : #440

Previous answer is
Mumei (Ko-Ichimonji)

Special feature : Founder of Fukuoka Ichimonji school is Norimune. Him and Narimune, Naomune, Muneyoshi, Munetada, Shigehisa, Sadanao are the most old generations of Fukuoka Ichimonji school and they are called as ‘Ko-Ichimonji’, which means ‘old generations’
Koichimonji is very similar with Kobizen or Koaoe school.
Old Koto blade shinogi ji must be Koitame or itame hada ,mokume hada
It is very important whether the blade is old or not old.
If the shinogi is engraved Bo-hi, you must check the blade very carefully.
Sometimes we can see some swords which were judged as old Koto blade but the shinogiji is masame hada.
In that case, the blade might be new swords like shinshinto koto copy or changed shinto to Koto blade.
Also Utsuri is very important point. Koto Utsuri or shinto utsuri.
This sword is high quality jigane and also healthy vivid hamon.
